8 Resources for Christian Mom Encouragement
You know those days when you make plans to get things checked off of your “to-do list”, and then something happens and those plans go right down the drain? Well, it happens to a lot of us.
In fact, I’m sure any person at some point in their lives has had plans that didn’t pan out for the day. So why do we as mom’s feel so guilty about the little things? Please don’t be so hard on yourself. Give yourself a little grace during this season in your life. You are not alone and this will soon pass.
I’m here to give encouragement today! I’m here to say that you can carry on and those things on your list will eventually get done. I’ve had to come to the realization that as long as my husband and son are being properly taken care of, other things will just have to wait in line.
Here are 8 different articles from women who have been in your shoes. They know what you’re going through as a mom and just how you feel. I hope that you will find encouragement through their words, advice and Biblical encouragement they give through scriptures.

8 Resources for Christian Mom Encouragement
Sarah at Ministry Minded Mom https://ministrymindedmom.com/how-to-be-a-homemaker-for-the-glory-of-god/
“In a world where advancing careers take precedence over cultivating families, it can be so easy to overlook the importance of homemaking and learning how to be a homemaker. It’s almost becoming a lost art and one that is often underestimated in its value.
But the truth is that, at least from a Christian perspective, homemaking and raising families is one of the most important roles that God can bless you with as a Biblical woman. Because you, mom, have the amazing opportunity of molding and shaping your children to be disciples for Christ.” Sarah
Hilary at Hilary Bernstein https://hilarybernstein.com/fitting-family-home-work-life/
“I’ve found that as good as those routines may be, life just happens on many days. Figuring out how to go with the flow can be an excellent way to cut back a whole lot of frustration.
As soon as you may think you’ve got things under control with a fantastic routine, something will come along and upset everything. By trying to relax and get back on track whenever possible, you can bounce back from unexpected interruptions.” Hilary
Ruth at The Better Mom https://www.thebettermom.com/blog/2014/02/19/stay-home-mom-change-world
A mother’s sacrifice is her child’s reward. They will not remember how clean your floors. They will remember how you took time to sound out the words in their Winnie the Pooh book, or how you stretched out your arms and said, “I love you.” Emily
Ally at the Modern Mary https://www.themodernmary.com/war-room-weary-mom/
“In order to raise up loving and kind children, you have to make yourself vulnerable. You have to put yourself in the line of fire and make hard decisions; be the rule-enforcer and the ouchie-kisser within minutes of each other.
You have to SERVE your family with love; knowing it’s probably going to be thankless and be OK with that and not hold a grudge.” Ally
Crystal at Crystal Twaddell https://www.crystaltwaddell.com/not-just-a-mom-cherishing-motherhood-series-link-up/
Learning to truly cherish motherhood often means slowing down and figuring out what makes us most effective and successful. What makes us unique and qualified, because this will be not only our place of strength but also our place of grace – for us and for our children. Crystal
Gina at Gina M. Poirier https://www.ginampoirier.com/11-bible-verses-exhausted-mama/
“It took me about seven hours to feel awake, but I finally got to sit down and think about what encourages me when I’m feeling completely wiped out. I flipped through my falling-apart Bible, the one with bent pages and the out-of-date translation, and found my favorite Bible verses. The ones with smudged ink and lopsided stars and long sections underlined.” Gina
Rebekah at Surviving Toddlerhood https://survivingtoddlerhood.com/dear-momma-who-wants-to-be-mary/
“This time you are in right now: trying to balance your wifely duties, your mothering, housekeeping, work, school, spiritual life, physical fitness, and personal development, this season is busy and it will pass. It is probably a time that you need to focus on serving with a good attitude, and a focused and thankful heart rather than yearning for something that may not be possible now.” Rebekah
Marisa at Called to Mothering https://calledtomothering.com/2018/06/15/7-things-every-good-christian-mom-does/
“One of our most important and rewarding tasks as a Christian mother is helping our children grow in faith. It is so much more than just taking them to church on Sunday. We play a vital role in our kids’ discipleship because we are uniquely positioned to walk beside them daily in a close, loving relationship!” Marisa
I pray that each of these articles will speak to your heart as they did mine. Remember, what you are going through is only for a season and we are all in this together. The burden to raise a Godly child in this day and age is a strong one. And it is something that we need to link together as sisters in Christ and say “We will do this together and encourage one another”.
