Teach My Child To Respect God
Lovely Lady, I am SO thankful that you are here and are ready to pour love into your child’s life through prayer. What an amazing person you are! In this article of the series, we will focus on “Teach My Child To Respect God”. Welcome to Day 10 of the Praying Scripture Over My Child Series.

Prayer
“I pray that my children will learn to respect
and submit to those authorities you have placed over
them. Let them understand that you have established
a loving wise covering for their good through parents,
pastors, and others in authority over them. Cause
them to obey, and not reserve for themselves the right
to choose to obey, which you call rebellion.“

Devotion | Teach My Child To Respect God
Submission to authority is one of the best accomplishments a parent can have in a child.
Respect for you as a parent, respect for a Pastor and respect for authority, in general, will take a child a long way in life.
It’s important to not only teach a child and teenager to submit and respect those over them but to also teach the reasons why.
Teach them that God honors those who have the utmost respect and submission to authority.
When they learn to submit to earthly authority, it will be much easier for them to submit to God.
If they have rebellion and choose not to obey those that have rule over them, it will be much harder for them to listen and heed to the voice of God.
