Praying Over My Child’s Mind

Lovely Lady, I am SO thankful that you are here and are ready to pour love into your child’s life through prayer. What an amazing person you are! In this article of the series, we will focus on “Praying Over My Child’s Mind”. Welcome to Day 12 of the Praying Scripture Over My Child Series.

Let’s get this started!

Prayer  

“Keep my children’s minds ever renewed by your
word and they will know the truth. May they base
their lives on your truth instead of Satan’s lies, so that
they will experience all the freedom that Jesus died on
the cross to give them. I pray that they will set their
thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely,
admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise.“

Devotion | Praying Over My Child’s Mind

The first thing the devil will attack your child with is their mind.

When we do our job as parents and teach our children the Word of God they will know the truth against Satan’s attacks and lies.

Do not be so naive to think that he will not try to get them when they are young. It will start early. 

The thoughts they will think, the lies the devil will whisper to them, and even the mentality they will have. 

We must stand our ground and not allow our children to pattern after what this world finds acceptable. This goes against everything that the Bible teaches. 

What is the value system that you are teaching your child?

What lifestyle are you condoning in your home?

Does it pattern after what God has ordained or does it pattern after the world? 

Making sure that we are aware of Satan’s devices is of utmost importance. It’s something that most do not think about but it is the remains true. 

Be vigilant when it comes to your children and what enters into their minds through books, movies, social media, the internet, and who they are around.
