Serve Gods Kingdom
Lovely Lady, I am SO thankful that you are here and are ready to pour love into your child’s life through prayer. What an amazing person you are! In this article of the series, we will focus on “Serve Gods Kingdom”. Welcome to Day 14 of the Praying Scripture Over My Child Series.
Let’s get this started!
Prayer
“Dear God, I pray that my children will
seek to please you, and not other people, in their
thoughts and actions. May they have servant’s
hearts, to want to give to others like Jesus.
For even he came not to be served, but to serve
others.“

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the LORD thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Mark 10:43-45
43But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: 44And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. 45For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Servanthood is hard to find. A true server looks at what they can give instead of what they will be able to receive.
Psalms 84:10 Contemporary English Version says “One day in your temple is better than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather serve in your house, than live in the homes of the wicked.”
Devotion | Serve Gods Kingdom
Jesus showed many examples of being a servant, one being when he washed the feet of his disciples. It was a showing of humbleness and servanthood to a fellow brother or sister in Christ.
Throughout the Bible, there are examples and promises for those who serve the Lord with gladness and with kindness in their heart.
Pray that your child will grow to love serving in the Kingdom of God. If they are willing to be used in the least, God will promote to the greatest.
It starts with you showing them when they are young and then teaching them when they are of age what true servanthood in the House of God means.
