Lovely Lady, I am SO thankful that you are here and are ready to pour love into your child’s life through prayer. What an amazing person you are! In this article of the series, we will focus on “My Child’s Trust In God”. Welcome to Day 22 of the Praying Scripture Over My Child Series.

Prayer
“Let my children trust in you with all
of their hearts. In all their ways may
they acknowledge you and therefore their
paths shall be made straight.”

Devotion | My Child’s Trust In God
Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Our God is all of these things. He is reliable, trustworthy, more than able and He gives strength!
Our children need to learn at an early age they can lean on their God.
They can know and have the trust that when they acknowledge God in all they do, He will then make their path straight. The road doesn’t have to be confusing and winding with sharp curves here and there.
Although we do live this thing called life, God is the Author and in Him, we should put our trust. We do not have all wisdom and understanding and we should not trust in that.
It is important to teach your child that at times, we do not have all of the answers.
We would like to have as much control of our life as possible, but at times, the only One we can lean on for answers and guidance is God and only God.
When we let Him, He will guide us down that path that is in His perfect will for our lives.
