Children | A Season of Thanks
Thankful For My Children
Children are an amazing gift from God to be thankful for!
I’m sure you are thinking in your mind that you aren’t sure if you’re getting this motherhood thing right. But with God’s guidance, you can do this.
You could probably look at the strongest mother you know and she still thinks she wishes she were a better mom.

Loving Children With A Grateful Heart
Raising children can be one of the most difficult things a mother can do. But oh, what a beautiful thing it is!
Being a mother and raising children is about being thankful for the little things and letting other distractions that don’t matter go.
As long as you are raising your child under the direction of the Lord, no other opinion matters. God has a masterful way of letting us know which direction to take when it comes to raising our children.
I read this quote “Thinking of things we are grateful for is a healing balm”.
When it feels as if the world of parenting seems to be crashing down around your feet, think of the small moments in your day that has brought joy.
The Bible says that children are our gift and joy.
Let the sweet little moments with your little love be a healing balm for the hard moments.
Learning to cherish these moments often means slowing down and enjoying the moment you are in instead of constantly looking to what needs to be done next.
Bible Verses About Love For Children
Psalms 127:3 “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.”
3 John 1:4 “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth”
James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above…”
1 Samuel 1:27 “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to Him.
How lucky we are to have such a reward from God that we see in our children.
To see that sleepy smile and hear the patter of little feet early in the morning is something to be grateful for.
When we hear those words “Mommy, I love you”, there’s no greater joy that fills our hearts and lives.
How beautiful it is to hear the love and laughter bubbling up from the depths of that little person’s soul is the greatest.
These are the moments that we live for through it all. These are the moments that we are grateful and thankful for over and over again.
Psalm 136:1-3 “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the LORD of lords: His love endures forever.”
2 Corinthians 9:12 “For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.”
Thank God for the ministry of being a mother! I read in a book not too long ago “Your home is the single most powerful arena on earth to change a life for God.”
As mothers, we are forever grateful and thankful for the task, role, and ministry of being a parent and guiding our littles to God.
